Classic Game Room HD reviews CALL OF DUTY 4 MODERN WARFARE for PS3, also on Xbox 360. COD4 Modern Warfare is one of the most popular video games ever created and for good reason, you get a lot of game with this game! An awesome fantasty based James Bond adventure-style single player campaign where you have to stop a group of tyrants from destroying the world. COD 4 has an amazing ortment of modern weapons including the MP5 and Javelin. The frantic battle scenes and attention to detail that are in COD2 and 3 are back with a suitable amount of ferocity and overall gameplay is superb. This CGR review of Call of Duty 4 has gameplay from COD4 showing the game play during this video game review of COD 4 Modern Warfare, developed by Infinity Ward and published by Activision. Being that this is one of the most popular games ever made means that there are millions of people playing multiplayer deathmatch, team death match and other games online. PS3 Playstation Network performance was smooth and free of lag or complications. The XBLA Xbox 360 version is supposed to be well done too (we didn’t check that version though). The COD4 Game of the Year Edition also has a fun arcade mode where you can play through missions in the game to earn arcade-style points and rack up a huge multiplyer by playing well and wasting bad guys. Good times packed into one COD4 game disc here, good times… It’s just too bad it’s not on the Vectrex.

Multiplayer, tournament mode, team builder and more round out the package giving major bang for the buck for college football fans. Play multiplayer deathmatch and team games on Playstation network, The Punisher No Mercy can be downloaded from the Playstation Network store for an affordable price. It is a fairly standard game for the most part and should appeal to fans of shooters with health packs and armor power ups (rather than just regenerating). If you like Goldeneye and Time Splitters you may dig this game because of the constant search for health to stay alive. Drive tanks down Wall Street, now that’s payback for your 401k! Alex Mercer is the prototype created by a horrible government conspiracy. Seek revenge against your creators and pretty much whatever or whoever gets in your way. Consume other people and morph into their form, throw taxis at people and jump off the Empire State Building. Prototype is darned fun and a violent, explody, bangy, crashy joy to play. It runs in High Definition and the Xbox 360 version has achievement points for Prototype. Earn weapon and jump upgrades (and more) and have a great time with side missions, challenges and other chaos that you create in Prototype! Classic Game Room HD reviews GOLDEN AXE BEAST RIDER for PS3, also available for Xbox 360. This updated, modern remake of Golden Axe Beast Rider is published by Sega and has some things in common with the original Genesis and arcade classic, but for the most part is a modern, hack and slash style video game. This CGRHD review of Golden Axe Beast Rider has gameplay footage from Golden Axe Beast Rider on Playstation 3 showing the game being played on YouTube. This game has gotten terrible reviews for the most part but isn’t really that bad, actually it’s kind of fun. Sure it may be mediocre for the most part, but for a budget game these days you’ll find some fun gameplay, lots of blood and gore and monsters that breathe fire! Run around and slash enemies, counter and attack with more force. It’s not a bad game, it’s just not a great game. Golden Axe Beast Rider can be had for a steal now on PS3 and Xbox 360 and has an entertaining single player campaign and lots of action. Controls make sense one you get used to them and it has fire, dragons and half naked women with swords. Win! Classic Game Room HD is down with Golden Axe Beast Rider and so should you! Does not have trophies or multiplayer, sadly. No affiliation with the movie Beastmaster (which was the bomb!)

Classic Game Room HD reviews STAR TREK DAC for XBLA Xbox 360 Live Arcade. This Star Trek DAC video game review has gameplay from Star Trek DAC in HD from XBLA. Released to coincide with the new Universal Pictures movie, Star Trek, this game has surprisingly little to do with Star Trek. It is an excellent arcade style multiplayer shooter game like Asteroids meets deathmatch though. Take command of any of three Federation (or Romulan) vessels like the flagship, bomber and fighter then duke it out in DAC (deathmatch, ault and conquest). Play over XBLA Xbox Live Arcade or fight in a single player mode by yourself against computer AI. Star Trek D.A.C. is simple, straight forward, addictive and fun. It lacks the depth of the Star Trek universe but excels at that simple, clever game play that many other Star Trek video games lacked in years past. Star Trek DAC is a worthy purchase for fans of arcade style space ship shooters with a multiplayer, deathmatch, ault and conquest twist.
