Classic Game Room HD reviews TRANSFORMERS REVENGE OF THE FALLEN for Nintendo Wii. It’s like the Bumblebee of Transformers video games. It should just transform into a car and drive itself off a cliff. Less than meets the eye kids, less than meets the eye. Buy or rent the AWESOME Transformers Revenge of the Fallen for Xbox 360 or PS3 and avoid this one. In an odd twist of fate (even odder than robots adopting the form of cars and school busses) the Transformers 2 video game has numerous versions… the Xbox 360 and PS3 version, two Nintendo DS versions and this mess on the Nintendo Wii. Sloppy controls, poor graphics and lackluster gameplay make this Transformers game the one to miss. This CGRHD review of Transformers 2 Revenge of the Fallen for Wii has gameplay footage from Transformers 2 on Wii showing the video game being played. Play Autobot and Decepticon, both (you can’t choose like you can in the 360 version) and play through a variety of mission types where the camera angles add confusion to what could have otherwise been a straight forward punch and shoot brawler.

Classic Game Room HD reviews STEAMBOT CHRONICLES BATTLE TOURNAMENT for Sony PSP from Irem, published by Atlus. Take command of a Trotmobile and play an adventure game mixed with a battle tournament fighting game where mechs face off in the arena! Steambot Chronicles has some cool concepts and good fighting controls as well as multiplayer mayhem, it lacks a bit of the polish found in many titles but works quite well and has high replay value. You can play with up to four players from one UMD disc, Sony PSP game cartridge thingy. Build, modify and customize your battle robots in Steambot Chronicles, arm them with flamethrowers and guns, swords and saws. Earn money and experience, fight your way through tournaments and get animated chicks to like you. It has RPG elements and you can choose what things you say at times, although I have the feeling the outcome is usually the same. The end result is you bashing other robots into a heap of smoldering metal. This CGRHD review of Steambot Chronicles Battle Tournament on PSP has gameplay footage from Steambot Chronicles Battle Tournament showing combat, robot modifications and the style of the adventure storyline.

Classic Game Room HD reviews METROID PRIME 3: CORRUPTION for Nintendo Wii. Samus is back in the 3rd Metroid Prime (the 1st two are on Gamecube) and pushed the Wii to its limits with outstanding visuals, smooth gameplay and explosive sounds. Why don’t all Wii games look like this?? This CGRHD review of Metroid Prime 3 Corruption has gameplay footage from Metroid Prime Corruption showing Samus in game play, are you stuck in a section? Well, hope you found this in a search engine because I used the word stuck, Xbox 360 and PS3 (ha!), but I can’t help you there. However CGRHD likes Metroid Prime 3 Corruption and gives it a good review with favorable opinions. Although CGRHD prefers non-stop blasting and explosions, the puzzle and problem solving parts of Metroid Prime 3 will appeal to fans of the series and fans of science fiction adventure games. This is a first person shooter style game that uses the Wii controller and nunchuk to control where Samus aims and moves. It’s a very unique control system that has rave reviews from Wii fans everywhere. Turn into a pinball and roll through tight spots, double jump, use the super fancy-word power up laser thingy and upgrade your awesome space ship. Metroid Prime 3 Corruption is a flagship title on the Wii and is a well made, challenging and lengthy video game from Nintendo. While I still prefer the 1987 NES Metroid, this one is a must play on the Nintendo Wii. Will there be a Metroid Prime 4 release in 2009 or 2010? Is there a Nintendo Wii 2 with a new Metroid Prime in HD? Maybe, or maybe you just found this by searching for it because you dreamed it. There should be. Dig Dug should also make a guest appearance.

XMEN WOLVERINE ORIGINS is an awesome acrade style action game with a storyline console feel, it is available on Xbox 360, PS3, PS2, Wii and PC. This CGRHD review of XMEN ORIGINS WOLVERINE has gameplay footage from X-MEN ORIGINS WOLVERINE recorded from Xbox 360, but the PS3 version should look very similar. Earn achievement points (and trophies) in X-Men Origins Wolverine as you play through the game, level Wolverine up with more health and skills and waste bad guys in a variety of bloody ways. While game play can be a bit choppy at times and the music and sounds aren’t the best out there, the easy to use control system combined with excellent, nontop action make Wolverine a very FUN game. FUN FUN FUN. Adamantium claws are excellent for stabbing, slashing, grappling and all kinds of good stuff. Published by Activision.
