I plan to self teach myself how to, because classes are way expensive. Any advice, videos, tips, or pointers you would like to share with me on how I can accomplish this.

You won’t be able to teach yourself, especially from watching. Your best bet is to try to mooch free "lessons" from experienced amateurs. The part of partner dancing that you see, the figures, are the least important part. Proper technique is all but invisible to the beginner.

Can anyone tell me the name of the artist or the song. It may also have been from the early 90s. The video is about this samba bar (I say samba because i thiiink it’s brazil, but i could be wrong, and it may be salsa or other popular style of dance) on the beach, and the cute waiter (who is about 10) falls for this girl with long hair (she is also about 10-11) and they start dancing. it’s a cute video!! It was a very popular latin pop song! help! thanks

You really cannot learn to dance online. You need corrections and no video can do that. Take a few dance lessons.

well, i’m trying to find some specific videos of salsa dancing but i don’t know what to search.
Does anybody know how that move calls when in salsa (maybe also other dances) the leader stands and holds the follower’s hands and the follower has a chance to dance by herself’/freestyle. If anybody knows how this calls please answer (or if you have video links of this part of dancing plz send)

Don’t know if it has a name but I believe it comes form tango originally and has been adapted to salsa.

I really want to start taking dance classes but I’m not sure which of these two styles I should take. I’ve watched youtube videos but they both look really fun!!
